This fan has been designed and produced in Spain for Flamencoexport.
This fan is totally hand made and very good quality.
Measures: 48 cm x 27 cm.

Made of Pearl (acetato), the material is lace colour ivory.
*Acetato fan's rods are hand made. They are made by artisans, not like the plastic ones. The 'Acetato' is hand cut, coloured and then polished one by one. The 'Acetato' is very flexible, and should never break, not like the plastic.

Its composition gives a special shine, it is made of an expensive material which explains its final price.

Fans have a specific terminology for each of their components: 
 - País: textile.  
 - Varillas (ribs): wood that can be painted or fretworked. 
 - Caberas: first and last ribs thicker than the others.  
 - Calado (fretwork): holes made in the ribs.  
 - Abanico (fan): the assembly or the named elements.
For the manufacturing of this fan we have been using cultivated wood, in order to avoid the deforestation of our planet.
