Juan Ignacio Gómez Gorjón, born in Barcelona in 1968, also known as "Juan Gómez Chicuelo". He works for the "Tablao de Carmen" in Barcelona with Mario Escudero, Angelita Vargas, La Tolea, Eva Yerbabuena, Sara Baras, Adrian Galia, Belen Maya, Atnonio "El Pipa" and Joaquin Grillo.
He also accompanied cantaores like Enrique Morente, Rancapino, Chano Lobato, José Mercé, Duquende, Mayte Martin, Diego "El Cigala", Carmen Linares, Potito.
Besides he worked with the most famous flamenco dance companies: Antonio Canales, Joaquin Cortes, Israel Galvan who entrusted him with the musical headship of the show presented during the Bienal de Flamenco in Sevilla in 2000.
For more than a decade he is the musical director of the Japanese dance company Shoji Kojima and from 2003 of the dance company Somorrostro Flamenco Dance produced by the Taller de Músics. In 2000 he presents his first CD with his own repertoire: "Complices" (Harmonia Mundi).
In November 2007 he published his second work under the name of "Diapason", a trip around different flamenco palos.

Juan santiago Maya , "Marote"

Juan Santiago Maya, also known as "Marote", born in the neighnorhood of Sacromonte in Granada, in 1936; and died in Granada in September 2002. He has three brothers "Manolete" professional dancer and Pepe Maya also known as "Marotillo".
Disciple of his grandfather Juan Fajardo, professional guitarist from Granada. He staryed as a dancer in the caves of Sacromonte, but then he devoted his time to the guitar.
At 18. years old he made his debut in Madrid, next to Rafael Farina. In 1960 he worked for the tablao flamenco "Torres Bermejas" in Madrid, he also worked for the Carmen Amaya company, reaching a great success in New York and other cities of the United States and the American continent.
He also participated to the Feria Mundial shows, in New York, in 1964, with Antonio Gades. He also performed in the show of Manolo Vargas and of Maria Rosa, between 1976 and 1980. He collaborated with the National Ballet of Spain. He was a great figure of the Andalusian festivals and between 1986 and 1987 he participated in the shoes El Sur y La Petenera, with Manuela Vargas. He went all over Japan and his records is very large, accompanying the voices of La Paquera, Fosoforito, Bambino, Fernanda and Bernarda de Utrera, etc. Very personal performing . considerated as an outstanding and original guitarist.
Marote is complete guitarist from Granada, he used the "ragueo" a lot.
