These green and white graine fiberglass castanets for professional with Double Soundbox are handmade by Castañuelas del Sur.

Castañuelas del Sur is a company based in Seville and founded by the master craftsmen Juan and José Vela Hernández, sons of Manuel Vela « Filigrana ».

These castanets are made of paper layers coated in a specific resin, a material that gives them a very powerful sound. These castanets are recommended for outdoor performances and for teachers who want to be heard above their students while practising.
